Full time in Sheldon location. This position performs grinding, sanding, buffing, and cleaning operations to ensure Maintainer’s lube truck bodies, service truck bodies, and miscellaneous parts are adequately prepared for paint coating. Previous experience with paint operations and/or small tools is preferred, but not required. Ability to work well in a team environment is required. On-the-job training will be provided to the right candidate. Application deadline: Friday, August 24.  


Full time in Sheldon location - Hours are 3:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., Monday afternoon through Friday morning. This is a new position that will be responsible for providing leadership, managing the night shift workforce, and achieving productivity goals of all night shift operations at Maintainer. This position will be actively involved in the selection, training, and management of the night shift workforce. The right candidate must have a strong background in manufacturing processes (especially Fabrication and Welding). Due to the nature of this position, the right candidate must have sound judgment skills and be able to make decisions independently when necessary. Must be able to demonstrate positive leadership skills and the ability to respond quickly to needs on the night shift.  3 – 5 years prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Application deadline: Friday, August 24.


Full time in Sheldon location. This position will primarily work in the Paint Final area but occasionally provide back-up resources within the Paint Booth as well.  Previous experience with auto body painting and/or paint touch-up/repairs is preferred, but not required.  Must be able to work well in a team environment.  On-the-job training will be provided to the right candidate.  Application deadline: Friday, August 24.


Full time in Rock Rapids location to oversee the Maintainer Custom Bodies product line.  This position will be responsible to direct and organize the day-to-day operations at this facility and take  a “hands-on approach” to ensure all manufacturing processes are operating efficiently and safely.  The Plant Mangager will manage scheduling and increase production by providing leadership, developing operational plans, and organizing work flow and resources.  The ideal candidate must be a strong leader with excellent interpersonal communication skills. This position will have 5 – 6 direct reports with 20 – 25 indirect reports and work with a wide range of internal job functions (manufacturing, purchasing, sales, and marketing).  This position reports directly to the Vice President of Operations.  Compensation will include a base salary (contingent on qualifications) and participation in a profit-based bonus program. The ideal candidate must have 5 – 10 years of operation management experience in a manufacturing  environment.  This individual must be a disciplined, detail-oriented self-starter who enjoys building relationships and working with people.  A four year degree is beneficial, but not required.  The right candidate must be able to plan, organize, and successfully communicate with a wide range of internal and external customers. Application Deadline Friday, August 24.


Full time in Sheldon. This Engineering department position is responsible to create highly customized designs and drawings that meet customer expectations.  This position will also work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and our external customers to ensure the final product exceeds customer expectations for durability, quality, and delivery.  The right candidate must have a four year degree in Mechanical Engineering.  One to two years of prior industrial design and/or engineering experience within the automotive or metal manufacturing industry is preferred, but not required.  Application deadline: Friday, August 24.


Full time position in Sheldon on DAY SHIFT & NIGHT SHIFT -  Day shift hours are 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., M-F. Night shift hours are 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., Monday afternoon through Friday morning. The right candidate must possess a basic knowledge of wire welding techniques and the ability to read and understand work orders and blue prints. Must effectively utilize tools such as tape measure, square, basic air and hand tools, and be able to work within safety guidelines with a positive attitude in a team environment.
