Maintainer Custom Bodies (MCB) is expanding its sales force with the addition of Tom Leckband as National Sales Manager. In addition to promoting MCB’s line of premium Rescue, Crew Carrier, Quick Attack and Command vehicles, Leckband will help develop distribution through an expanded dealer network.
“Tom brings strong experience to the team,” said General Manager Shelley Morris. “We have ideas for expanding Maintainer’s customer base with our custom manufacturing process. Tom will help us identify and capitalize on those opportunities as well as build on our popular MCB and DuaLock brands.”
Leckband brings over 20 years of sales management experience in commercial vehicles, including fire apparatus. His background includes regional dealership management, national account sales, and direct management of sales programs for vehicle manufacturing.
“As a strong advocate for the customer,’” Leckband says, “I am excited for this opportunity in joining with MCB, a company that is driven to build rescue vehicles to the customers’ highest expectation.”
Leckband will work primarily out of the Maintainer Corp. headquarters office in Sheldon. MCB Sales Manager David Wunderlin will continue to work out of his home office in Joplin, Mo.
